Cleaning process

Before trucks leave the sites they must drive through the HurriClean Pellet Blow-Off. A sensor detects the approaching truck, and the installation activates immediately. A green light indicates to the truck that the installation is operating at sufficient RPM and it can drive into the tunnel. Guide poles at the entrance and exit position the truck correctly as it moves through the tunnel.
The driver uses a matrix board with speed indicator to maintain the correct speed in the tunnel. This speed must be maintained so that the pellets can be removed from the truck efficiently.

An extremely powerful blower installation is used that even makes it possible to remove pellets from a completely wet surface.

Recommendation (not included with the HurriClean Pellet Blow-Off):
When the truck exits the installation, issue the driver with a receipt (digital or hard copy) that must be used as proof of cleaning when checking out of the sites.

Easy Cleaning

As the cleaning process takes place in a tunnel, the pellets only collect there on the floor and in the gutters. This prevents further spreading across the site and makes it easy for the principal to regularly clean up the collected pellets with standard equipment such as a vacuum cleaner or sweeping machine. In addition, the installation is protected against wind and rain, which increases the life span.

Stand-Alone

The dimensions of the free-standing HurriClean Pellet Blow-Off are 20x6x7m (L x W x H), which contains the entire required installation. The installation is easily accessible for regular maintenance. Steel (uninsulated) roof and wall panels form the ‘skin’ of the tunnel. The steel construction rests on a prefab concrete foundation with integrated gutters between which a reinforced concrete floor is laid.

The installation consists of an energy-efficient centrifugal ventilator connected to stainless steel air blades. These blades blow the truck completely clean from the sides and top. Features are built into the installation to reduce noise as much as possible.

Optimising the sensor settings, speeds and running times maximises energy efficiency.

Sustainable LED lighting activated by a motion sensor provides clarity and safety in the HurriClean Pellet Blow-Off.

Sewer connections are not necessary: rainwater is drained through the gutters to the existing paving on the sites.

Plug & Play

The optimised planning and cooperation of our construction team enables us to complete commissioning of the HurriClean Pellet Blow-Off in 4 working weeks after placement of the prefab foundation.

Not included in the HurriClean Pellet Blow-Off and therefore the only items that the principal must provide:
• The (possibly) required permits.
• A levelled working area of 31x17m that is free of obstacles all around the tunnel and is accessible and able to support vehicles for our construction operations.
• A “level” and sufficiently strong load-bearing surface of 21×7 m on which the HurriClean Pellet Blow-Off can be placed directly (e.g., existing paving on the sites).
• A power supply point with sufficient capacity led inside the HurriClean Pellet Blow-Off for the electrical connection.
• Continuing the adjacent paving on the sites up to the tunnel.
• Possible infrastructural fittings and equipment for truck “proof of cleaning” (digital or paper receipt).

Delivery includes construction and commissioning. The delivery period is to be agreed. However, it is a minimum of approximately 8 weeks after the order is placed in writing.
